It is my opinion that it is much more financially burdening to go into the store and buy a bundle of food storage items all at once than it is to pick some up here and there as they go on sale. I always think, "Slow and steady wins the race." Maybe that's not true for everybody, but it has been for me. I wanted to share a few deals with you that I noticed today.
Canned chicken is a great item to have in your food storage and/or 72 hour kits. You can print 2 different coupons on www.coupons.com right now.
The best deal I saw was Hormel Canned Chicken $1 off 2 cans which makes them $1.08 at Walmart. Remember to print 2 per computer.
Facebook is also offering B1G1 Peanut Butter & Co. coupon which expires the 29th of January. Makes it less than $2 at Walmart. We love this brand. Only 1 print per computer. Another good food storage item.
Winco had their tomato sauce for $.18 a can this week. That is better than a case lot sale. Laila also mentioned the spaghetti sauce was on sale for $.48.
Albertsons has 4 lb sugar for $1.99 until Tuesday. (Limit 1) If you are heading in there that is a good price.
